There are a couple things that come along with the start of spring like green grass, blooming flowers, drastic temperature changes and the Illinois Horse Fair. The Illinois Horse Fair is the kick off to horse activities for many in Illinois. It is a place to do some shopping, brush up on skills in clinic and spend time with friends from all over the state.
Over the weekend I was busy helping with the Circle H Western Store fashion show, signing autographs at my sponsors booths, cheering on the contestants in the Miss Illinois Horse Fair pageant, visiting with everyone that stopped by the Miss Rodeo Illinois 2015 booth and presenting the American flag at the rodeo performances. Caring the American Flag is such an honor for me since I am a little sister to a active duty sailor, a great niece to a Korean War veteran, a grand daughter to a Korean War veteran, a daughter to a Vietnam veteran and a friend to many veterans and active duty military.
It was great to have an adventure as Miss Rodeo Illinois close to home. I encourage everyone to come out to the Illinois Horse Fair next year and see us at the Miss Rodeo Illinois booth!
